Bitcoin Blockchain used the results of the Republican Convention -Voting of Tennessee County

On Tuesday, March 4, 2025, the Republican Party of Williamson Country held its convention in the Franklin Marriott, located in the heart of Williamson County, Tennessee.

During the event, “BonaFide” Republicans (those who voted in the last three of the four Republican pre -elections) voted for the future of the local leadership of their party, with the two parties in the competition – elevated and the Williamson County Republicans – each offer a series of eight candidates.

The final results of the vote were committed in (added to) Bitcoin Block 886.370 using the unchanging trial service from Simple Proof, an automated service that uses the Opentimestamps protocol to protect the public registers.

Why simple evidence?

Easy evidence retains the integrity of documents by committing digital versions of the aforementioned documents in the random data field (the on_return function) of a Bitcoin transaction. In addition, the documents are irrevocably dedicated to a block on the Bitcoin -Blockchain, which is unchangeable.

This technology has proven to be excellent for storing election records because it helps to prevent tampering with election results once a voice has been completed.

Easy evidence placed on the map when it helped to protect the moods for the 2023 presidential elections in Guatemala, the story of which is explained in the short documentary ‘unchanging democracy’.

The company also helped to maintain the integrity of election results in scenreen County, Georgia last November.

It was actually this story from Scren County that caught the attention of Steve Giraud, a Republican voter based in Williamson County who wanted to see the integrity of the voice for the Republican leadership elections of Williamson County, confirmed.

So, he and a friend with whom he organizes Bitcoin -Meetups, Dave Birnbaum (also a contribution to Bitcoin Magazine), contacted the simple evidence to use his services.

“Steve, the person who contacted simple evidence, described himself as a ‘committed citizen’,” Simple Proof founder and CEO Rafael (Rafa) Cordon told Bitcoin Magazine.

Cordon further explained that simple evidence is politically impartial and that it does no more than offer a technological service.

“We do not work directly for a political organization or electoral authority, only a person who wants to protect voice documents,” said Cordon.

Carlos Toriello, election leader for simple evidence, repeated Cordon’s point that simple evidence does not work on behalf of political groups and only works to maintain the integrity of important election documents.

“They can use our service to know that the information she has been trusted,” Toriello told Bitcoin Magazine.

Pre-convention voltage

When I spoke the day before the vote with Giraud, he seemed visibly nervous about possible interference during the night of the vote and/or legal steps that were taken to challenge the legitimacy of the election results after the fact.

Girraud, who is affiliated with the Williamson County Citizens, a group of ‘Grassroots Conservatives’ that believes in a small government, low taxes and reduced regulations, explained that the Republican sect he belongs to it was deeply capable of the Williamson County Conservatives published as less ideologies.

During the Convention, BonaFide Republicans would vote for a total of eight party leaders, selected from the Acht to the vote brought by Elevate, the Republican group to which Giraud is connected, and considered the vote by the Conservatives of Williamson County.

In the weeks prior to the convention, reports stated that the Republicans of Williamson County was conducting a wrong information campaign in which they claimed that Elevate was trying to suppress the mood because the Williamson County Republican Party (WCRP) consisting of a majority of representatives of Elehatie, in person, arrived at the convention, in person in person, in person in person, in person in person, in person in person, in person in person, in person in person, in person in person, in person in person, in person in person, in person in person, in person in person in person, in person in the convention of the convention. from Tennessee’s Republican Parts bylaws.

According to Girraud, the Conservatives of Williamson County also claimed that the WCRP changed the location at the last minute as a means to reduce the rise of the voters of supporters of Williamson County Conservatives.

Giraud argued, however, that this was not the case.

“Given the turnout we were expecting, we came very close to exceeding the maximum capacity or occupancy rate for the original location, the Franklin Factory Liberty Hall,” he explained.

“So, someone at the Contest and Credenceing Committee (CCC) (a separate entity of the WCRP) said he had to change the location, which could disadvantage some voters. Now the WCRP will have volunteers in the factory with drawing that say ‘location changed, go to the Marriott’, he added.

“But we are very concerned that if the opposition loses, they will threaten lawsuits because of what the CCC did.”

In addition, the Conservatives of Williamson County bombed the inhabitants of Williamson County with mailers, texts and Robo calls, partly financed by former Democrats.

Girraud said that the Conservatives of Williamson County “carpet bombarded 16,000 bona fide Republicans in Williamson County with mailers – of which every 5,000 came out about $ 4,000.”

A report claimed that the Conservatives of Williamson County $ 50,000 spent on this campaign and that the messages was ’emotionally charged and aggressive’, which led to the conservatives of Williamson County and both levying and responding to accusations of the opposite group.

The voice counting process

Easy evidence does not guarantee that the validity of the voices it helps to maintain with the Bitcoin blockchain, so it is up to the local election board to guarantee the legitimacy of the voice process.

Giraud explained that only bona fide voters would be admitted to the night of the convention in the voting area. He added that the voting area “would be secured by deputy sheriffs” and that all voters get a wristband that they have to remove as soon as they vote so that they cannot vote twice.

All voices are made about what Girraud called ‘Bubble Cards’, on which voters use a Sharpie pen to fill in their choice of eight candidates from the 16 on the mood (the Elevate candidates on one side of the ballot and the candidates of the Williamson Country Conservatives on the other side).

Four voluntary observers – two of Elevate and two of the Conservatives of Williamson County – follow the mood.

During the vote, Giraud would act as a ‘judge for spoiled ballot papers’, so that he could take note of ballot papers on which someone outside the bubbles or other irregularities wrote that could destroy a vote.

Stemnations are fed by a machine (a part of the voice process that Girraud noticed that he does not necessarily like – “I am skeptical about something that is involved in a machine when it comes to a ballot,” he said.)

The machines then produce the final voice for the night, however, the results can be counted by hand at the request of Elevate or the Williamson County Conservatives.

The voting results

The Elevate candidates won all eight party leadership seats.

However, the victory did not remained undisputed.

After the machines had produced the results, the Conservatives of Williamson Country asked for a manual recovery, which, according to Girraud, performed the Tennessee State Election Commission. The recount resulted in winning a very slightly wider margin than was initially reported. (Easy evidence of time stamp both the first results and the results of the manual recount, coupled in the first part of this piece, to the Bitcoin -Blockchain.)

“Told with the manual hand, we got one voice,” said Girraud.

Girraud also reported that his fears on potential stamp interference -interference were removed in the night of the convention because the process went smoothly, apart from a small, unexpected action.

“There were so many older people here that they opened the doors for early voices,” he said.

Towards the end of the night, however, Girraud was not only relieved, but he was optimistic about what had happened that evening and also hoped that the technology of Simple Proof will be used on a larger scale.

“I just introduced what I did with the soon chairman of the Williamson County Republican Committee, which will deduct from tonight,” said Girraud.

“He was very excited that we did this. I hope he will help us go further, not only in the province, but also in the excessive provinces and at some point to the state. That is my goal for the state Tennessee: increase transparency, “he added.

“I hope that even the other party Carlos (Toriello) and Rafa (Cordon) would approach and want to use this for documentation and future elections to keep us responsible and to force the truth and responsibility. That is my goal as a worried citizen. “
