Aligned delivers revolutionary cost savings and performance
The mainnet beta supports authentications for leading systems. This ZK verification layer includes Risc0 (v1.1.2), SP1 (v3.0.0), gnark which is Groth16 (BN254) and gnark which is Plonk (BN254 and BLS12-381). Impressively, the network can process 200 proofs per second at a cost of just 2100 gas per proof.
Furthermore, it marks a 10x improvement in throughput and a cost savings of over 90% compared to Ethereum’s native verification capabilities. More than 433,000 $ETH has been committed to the network. The network, Aligned, has created a robust foundation on which partners can build on their platform.
Towards a seamless developer experience
While the mainnet beta shows incredible progress, Aligned remains committed to continuous improvement. Key areas of focus include stabilizing the batcher and resolving bottlenecks in the payment system. They also include improving the SDK for seamless integration and better error management. The network was initially operated by a smaller set of whitelisted operators. It will be further expanded in the coming days to bring more participants on board.
