Aethir has detailed insights on Aethir Edge, the centerpiece of its solution to make it big in one of the fastest growing segments: DePIN, an acronym for decentralized physical infrastructure. The idea is to support the AI and gaming sector with GPU cloud computing. Plans are in place for Aethir to roll out rewards and native tokens (ATH) in the second quarter of 2024.
Aethir Edge is defined by Aethir as a visionary hardware cloud computing device that can anticipate the rapid expansion of user bases and enterprises. What also works in Aethir Edge’s favor is that it seeks to bank those who have been pushed away by centralized solutions or have not been touched by them so far.
Aethir’s GPU cloud computing is flawless in nature and plans to release cloud computing nodes for customers. These can facilitate the use of raw and unused GPU power from those that are ideal. Aethir Edge is already starting to gain traction with small features it has. These relate to the fact that the device is compact enough to fit into any environment and that the operating noise is as low as one wants. Power consumption has been significantly reduced.
Latency has been identified as a nightmare in the cloud computing segment. Aethir understood this and promised to resolve it through Edge. According to the announcement, it has been successful under the umbrella of enterprise-level edge computing capabilities. Aethir wants to make latency something from the past in the industry. A few more upgrades may be needed to increase effectiveness.
Aethir’s GPU cloud covers a broad region as the distribution of the device goes beyond geographic challenges. This is in stark contrast to the traditional cloud mechanism. Users no longer need to move closer to the center of the cloud network; Aethir does this for them by bringing the solution one step closer.
To mention the ATH token again, Aethir plans to release the ecosystem token soon and use it to roll out rewards in the form of passive income. This would provide better opportunities for device owners. All they have to do is operate an Aethir Edge device, which entitles them to 23% of ATH’s total supply. A cloud computing device can be set up through the Aethir Edge mobile application, which is further integrated with a crypto wallet service.
