A center aimed at driving growth and innovation in Abu Dhabi’s blockchain sector has been officially launched. Known as the Blockchain Center, it aims to establish Abu Dhabi as a global leader in blockchain technology and innovation. The center’s focus will be on creating a thriving ecosystem for startups, enterprises and academic institutions.
According to a report, the Blockchain Center will host top events and workshops around the world, connecting leading minds from the industry. These events will also serve as platforms to launch the latest applications in blockchain technology. The incubation and acceleration hub will also be included in the center.
Commenting on the center’s unveiling, Abdulla Al Dhaheri, CEO of the Blockchain Center, said:
We are excited to launch the Blockchain Center in Abu Dhabi. Our vision is to create a global hub for blockchain innovation, education and collaboration here in Abu Dhabi.
In addition to providing an incubation and acceleration hub, the center will offer cutting-edge educational programs to advance blockchain knowledge, skills and technological innovation. In addition, the practice-oriented human resources training center aims to ensure a continuous pipeline of talent.
Additionally, a venture capital arm will be incorporated into the center to support and invest in Web3 startups.
