Zug, Switzerland — DIA, the open oracle network, is proud to announce its latest innovation, ‘Lumina’. Scheduled for an upcoming testnet launch, Lumina aims to tackle the ongoing challenge of achieving a truly decentralized and reliable data infrastructure for Web3. This groundbreaking design will redefine oracle technology while expanding the usability of DIA’s native token, $DIA.

Built on a modular framework, Lumina enhances oracle functions from data sourcing to delivery. At the heart of this system is DIA’s proprietary L2 rollup, ‘Lasernet’, which takes advantage of recent developments in Ethereum scaling technology.
The modular approach reconsiders trust assumptions at every stage of the value chain. Staking mechanisms encourage a distributed network of nodes to obtain raw trading data from over 100 centralized and decentralized exchanges. These contributions are secured with $DIA tokens.
Zero-Knowledge components verify raw data and calculations, while Lasernet handles storage and final pricing, ensuring a transparent, immutable, and scalable processing layer. A decentralized messaging protocol then ensures that data is pushed to the relevant blockchain.
Setting new standards for trusted oracles
DIA has already established itself as a leading cross-chain oracle network, integrating with more than 50 L1 and L2 chains and providing data to more than 200 dApps. DIA specializes in customizable data feeds and excels in providing on-chain and off-chain information about various applications.
“Lumina is the result of four years of innovation in Web3 infrastructure, summarized in one product. It provides the foundation for a decentralized and reliable oracle network that maximizes security while maintaining flexibility for diverse use cases.”
Zygis Marazas, Head of Product at DIA
A phased rollout towards complete decentralization
The deployment of DIA Lumina will take place in phases. The first phase includes the launch of the Lasernet testnet and an early staking campaign. This will be followed by the introduction of a closed Lasernet mainnet and live staking. The final phase will open up the mainnet to broader participation, allowing for expanded engagement with the network.
Paul Claudius, co-founder of DIA, comments: “Our new architecture represents a significant shift in the oracle space, addressing previously accepted shortcomings in the industry. We are excited to unveil the realization of our vision for truly decentralized and transparent oracles, ready for integration with our extensive network of partners.”

About DIA
DIA is a trusted oracle network that provides data feeds for tokens, LSTs, RWAs, random numbers and more on any blockchain. Its permissionless nature allows nodes and stakers to contribute to distributed data sourcing, secured by robust cryptoeconomic and cryptographic mechanisms. DIA’s Ethereum L2 package, Lasernet, ensures that all critical oracle operations are performed with reliable calculations and full verifiability.
