The LayerZero protocol team has partnered with the Conflux Network platform. As part of the collaboration, it is planned to release a blockchain-based SIM card. It is expected that owners of such a SIM card will be able to transfer assets and messages between different chains using LayerZero. According to the developers, Conflux is the only public blockchain in China that meets legal requirements.
Conflux has jointly developed the Blockchain SIM Card (BSIM) with China Telecom, which was previously announced and scheduled for a pilot launch in Hong Kong’s technology hub. Promising to protect users’ private keys on mobile devices, BSIM isn’t just a technological advancement. This is a step toward rethinking mobile user security and asset management.
LayerZero and Conflux lit up the technology landscape by announcing their joint venture focused on BSIM technology. The participation of LayerZero, known for its cross-chain messaging protocol that effectively minimizes the number of intermediaries required to transfer assets or data between chains, expands BSIM’s capabilities.
