“We migrated Mythical Market to Polkadot in July, and we are currently in the process of migrating both the Blankos collection to Mythical Market and D-Market to Polkadot. This transition amounts to migrating more than 5 million wallets to the network,” said Kasper Joergensen, CFO of Mythical Games, in a recent story with Investing.com.
Mythical Games, known for popular titles such as NFL Rivals, uses the possibilities of Polkadot as a parachain. This move not only leverages Polkadot’s EVM module for address compatibility, but also allows developers to work with the WebAssembly-based Substrate framework, creating a robust foundation for their ecosystem.
According to Joergensen, DMarket has the distinction of being the largest NFT collection in the world, with daily sales of more than $600,000 and approximately 25,000 transactions involving the buying and selling of in-game assets. While Mythical Market primarily manages trades for NFL Rivals, it will soon feature additional collections such as Blankos, Nitro Nation, and others.
