Beyond the hype
Art on Tezos: Berlin is not just an NFT expo. The event is structured as a cultural deep dive: more than a dozen exhibitors, including Objkt (the largest marketplace of Tezos), office mounting, gallery with, bitforms and curatorial collective, will present projects that reflect artists blockchain pushing as a medium-not a marketplace.
“Art ON TEZOS: Berlin shows what is possible when artists, curators, collectors and platforms come together with a shared vision. This event is not only about bringing individual works to the attention, but also the possibilities of digital art.”
Aleksandra Art, head of the arts at Trilitech (Tezos R&D Hub)
A community that grew from Grassroots
The art culture of Tezos started in 2021 with Hic et Nunc, a Grassroots platform with which everyone could mint and sell NFTs. From there, ecosystems such as Objkt, Teia and Iink expanded the landscape, now the home of more than 100,000 artists worldwide. Partnerships with cultural institutions, including Art Basel, Serpentine and Musée d’Orsay, have further strengthened the role of Tezos as a hub for experimental art.
